Everything ABC's Blog Hop ~ Letter 'A'

Welcome to the Everything ABC's Blog Hop!

For this hop we will be featuring the letter 'A'. This may be the name
of a paper, a stamp set or an embellishment. Whatever the crafter has
chosen as their 'A' element will be featured in their post.

If you came from Jenifer then you're on the right track!

My letter 'A' is for Artistry...

I have chosen to use a stamp set from the Cricut Artistry Collection called "Love Right Now"
~ This stamp set is only available in the Cricut Cartridge Collection~

~ Here is the card that I made ~

The supplies used:

And again the card:

For direction along with a video on how to make Banner tails continue to read below...
If you jump to the bottom you can see who is next in the hop ~

How I Made this simple card

Using a Sweet leaf card base I random stamped the LOVE stamp in Sweet leaf ink creating my own background paper.

Next I found some Background & Texture paper from my scraps...
I used retired paper scraps, although you can very easily recreate with any of the amazing Fundamental Creative Basics Papers!

I cut various strips in widths of 1" to 2 " then created banners

I stamped 'Be Happy ~ Be Bright ~ Be You' onto a strip of 1 1/4" x 2 1/2" piece of White card stock using black ink.  Cut Banner tails on it then glued it to a piece of Cranberry cardstock  1 1/2" x 2 3/4"  ~ keep top edges aligned flush then banner cut the bottom of the cranberry piece.

Next attach patterned paper banners in a pleasing arrangement flush with top of card base using bonding Memories Glue ~ I really like this glue as is gives a little time to get in the correct place before it dries permanently.

Place sentiment banner on top using foam tape for some added dimension

Supplies used for this project were:

Cricut Artistry Collection
Sweet Leaf Card Stock
Sweet Leaf Exclusive Ink Stamp Pad
Scraps of background paper
(alternately Fundamentals Creative Collection)
My Acrylic Block 2" x 2"
My Acrylic Block  3" x 3"
Spritz Cleaner
My Acrylic Stamp scrubber
Sure Cut Deluxe Craft PaperTrimmer
Micro Tip Scissors
